Familia residences: the lobby and the common areas

1 min read

The paintings I made for the Familia residential complex sit perfectly in a lobby that carries light and solar energy, with a great deal of gold in it. Gold really is a symbol of the sun’s energy, and its presence in an interior lends the place warmth and shine.

My paintings, which decorate the lobby and many of the shared spaces of this residential complex, bring their own elements into that sunlit atmosphere.

The golden tones in the work underline the elegance and refinement of the interior, creating a harmony between the natural energy of the sun and art.

Works like these do more than decorate a space: they carry an important message about how art can inspire and add light and joy to the everyday life of the people who live there.

Shall we talk about art?

Ask me about any part of what I do — what a work is made of, how it feels to the hand, how it will sit in your room. I am glad to film it for you in the studio. We can talk through size, framing and timing, or start a work that does not exist yet.
