About me

I am an artist based in St Petersburg and I work in a technique of my own: texture pastes, epoxy resin, oil and gold, layer over layer. The relief carries the meaning rather than decorating the surface, and a photograph only approximates it. That is why people come to see the paintings in person.

The thread running through everything I make is the inner state of a person coming to know themselves. It does not stop at canvas: there has been the wall of a building on Sretenka in Moscow, glass, furniture and a car.

I have been exhibiting since 2016. That year I took first and third place in the Decorative Portrait category at the Second ART PORTRAIT CLUB International Portrait Exhibition and Competition at the Central House of Artists in Moscow. Solo shows: “Drowning in Yourself” (METROPOLIS space, St Petersburg, 2017) and “The Way Out Is Inside” (ARTLAB Gallery, Zhukovka, 2024). Works have gone to private collections in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, the Czech Republic, Turkey, Georgia, Cyprus and Sri Lanka.

The catalogue holds more than a hundred works, priced from 15,000 ₽. My studio and gallery, MAKE AIR, is on Bolshaya Zelenina street and open by arrangement.

Filming in the studio

The studio is on Bolshaya Zelenina and visits are by arrangement. Write ahead about what you want to shoot and when: some works travel to shows, and I’ll have ready whatever we agree on.
