How it works
How to buy a painting as a gift
Say which work caught your eye and it will be filmed for you in the studio. A photograph only approximates the relief; on video you see the light move across the surface.
The studio is in St Petersburg: come and see the work in person, just write ahead. Some of the paintings also stand in the WOODDI designer furniture showroom.
Packing and shipping
A canvas usually travels rolled in a tube, without its stretcher. A gift is easier to give ready to hang: say so before it is packed, and the packing and the price will change.
Shipping is a separate line, quoted in writing before anything is paid.
Payment
There is no payment form on the site. The method and the total are agreed in writing before the work is packed. Telegram, WhatsApp, phone and email are at the foot of every page.
Questions people ask
- Will it arrive by New Year?
- New Year orders are taken until 27 December. After that the painting travels with a transport company whose schedule the studio does not control, so delivery by the 31st is not promised. Anything ordered after the 27th ships after the January holidays.
- What comes with the painting?
- A certificate of authenticity: the title, size and year, signed. If you want it ready to hang, say so before it is packed.
- Can I see the work before buying?
- Yes. At the studio in St Petersburg, by arrangement, or on video: the work is filmed in the studio, in daylight and close up.
