Bottomless Abyss

The water is transparent to the limit. It reflects the figures and the intentions they walked in with.

Wind pulls at the fabric. The clothes are in motion. The three of them walk calmly.

Whose gesture matters most? The child's. He holds on to join, with no fear in it: without him the man and the woman would stay two separate figures on one plane.

Gold wraps all three the way a sunset does at the very edge of the day. That light warms no skin and still leaves you warmer.

I had no plan to make an icon and it came out close to one. The work explains nothing and reminds you of what you knew already.

The title says that nothing here sinks.

A small format, for a bedside wall or a nursery, where people come close to it.
