The sand is warm, light, nearly white, with gold tracks running over it where their steps went.
The shadows work as second figures. The runners have bodies; the shadows keep only the movement, and at times they look to be enjoying it more.
What are they running from? Nothing. They are running because this evening running is what works.
Love in the title is the frequency a person lives at: quiet, level, almost invisible from outside, and stronger than most of what happens to them.
The format wants a long wall. It sits straight as art above the sofa, and the gold on the sand starts working again under evening lamps.
