St Petersburg recently saw the opening of the WOODDI showroom (WIAFL Interior Atelier of Furniture & Lighting). It is a genuine atelier of designer furniture and lighting, where every solution is made for a particular person and their space.

I am delighted to say that my paintings are now shown here too, among these unique interior pieces. They fitted the stylish WOODDI interiors beautifully, took on new shades and became part of the overall concept of the space.
What is WOODDI?
WOODDI works like an atelier:

It selects furniture to match an individual style and brief;
It offers production across three markets: Russia, China, Europe;
It allows full customisation: more than 300 fabrics, finishes and sizes;

It builds sets: furniture, lighting and decor in harmonious combinations;
It works with any kind of space: from apartments to restaurants.
It is a place where furniture stops being just an object and becomes part of your story.

Art inside an interior
My paintings at WOODDI became exactly the accent that turns a space into a living one. Designer furniture and lighting set the rhythm, and original art adds depth and emotion. It is a dialogue of form and colour that makes an interior unique. I am convinced that an interior without art is always a story left half-told.
A little personal note

For me, taking part in this project is a joy and an inspiration. I believe that luxury today is not only about surrounding yourself with beautiful things, but about bringing a piece of your own individuality into a home: a painting made by an artist, or even a work you paint yourself.
Which, by the way, is exactly what you can do at my studio in Petersburg, at Art Therapy. It is a unique experience: making a painting with your own hands and placing it in your own interior. And yes, it will work every bit as well as a designer sofa or lamp. Because it will hold your energy.
