When art meets another creative profession, magic happens. Not the fairy-tale kind but the living, real, everyday kind — which makes it all the more valuable. This is the story of a painting that became part of the life of a beauty salon. And of how visual art can tune you to a good frequency even in everyday busyness.
We spend half our lives away from home. We are in motion, at work, caught up in things. Which means we need beauty around us more than ever. Real beauty. Not licked clean, but with taste and soul. That is exactly why my works are “paintings you want to live with”. Not in a museum, not behind glass at an exhibition, but here and now — among people who make beauty with their hands every day.

One cosy, stylish beauty salon took this idea to heart. It is run by two sisters, Tatyana and Yulia. A real family duo, where one creates women’s looks and moods (Tatyana — creative director, a magician of a hairdresser) and the other holds the whole process carefully in her hands (Yulia — commercial director and the soul of the service). Together they make a space you want to come back to.
Since May 2024, my paintings have lived in this salon. A new one every month. Every month a new energy, a new mood, new colours. It is like changing the set within one play: guests notice the difference, enjoy it, ask questions. And the atmosphere renews itself like fresh air after rain.

This is not just a painting on a wall. It is a link between arts. Hair is a canvas too. Looks, style, mood — none of it comes from nowhere; it comes from feelings, sensations, a visual message. And my job is to weave a piece of painting into that, so the energy of beauty flows in a circle.
That is how synergy is born. When painting inspires the stylist. When the stylist inspires the client. And the client leaves not just with a new haircut but with the sense of having touched something bigger today.
