Urban frescoes are made by street artists: large-scale drawings and painted compositions on the walls of buildings, on bridges, in underpasses and on other city surfaces.

This kind of art caught my interest a long time ago, and it has grown popular in countries all over the world, drawing the attention of locals and tourists alike. The usual tools of the urban fresco are sprays, paints, markers and other materials — but this time I chose print.
Together with Oleg Lukyanov of https://urbanfresco.ru/ we put my painting on one of Moscow’s streets. An urban fresco is not only a way to brighten grey city walls but a form of expressing your work and your thoughts, and so my painting “Faith in Every Day” has gone out onto the street. This work is a source of inspiration and reflection for the people who pass it, and we will see how they react. An urban fresco with my painting can change the surroundings and bring some variety into the daily life of the city. It will surprise someone and perhaps inspire them, and make the streets brighter and more imaginative.
My own exhibition. All through April 2024.
