“THE WAY OUT IS INSIDE”
The opening ceremony was not without its important guests.
The magnificent Pavel Vitalyevich Pepperstein in person. Artist, writer, critic, art theorist, fashion designer.
He has taken part in the largest biennials of contemporary art: the São Paulo Biennial (2004), the Venice Biennale (2009), Manifesta (2014).
In 2014 he won the Kandinsky Prize in its main category, “Project of the Year.”
His works are held by the Russian Museum (St Petersburg), the Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow), the Centre Pompidou (Paris) and Kunsthalle Düsseldorf, as well as by private collections around the world.
