Portal to Abundance

“Portal to Abundance”: a couple walking over white water. The step is directed, with nothing strolling about it.

“Portal to Abundance”, a square 100 × 100 cm, mixed media with oil on top.

The ground went in pink over gold. Pink flashes run across the whole field, scattered, in no order.

Pink was written off as a frivolous colour for a long time. I need it as warm force: tenderness that can still take a hit.

The water is white. It washes nothing away, it gives a clean field you can fill with anything, and that is the most honest thing I know about abundance. Empty space first, everything else after.

The rays draw from the horizon, and the two walk into that light on their own. Nobody is pushing them.

The man goes first, the woman lets it in. One without the other opens no portal.

Buyers hang it in studios, offices, rooms for work. Where you want to expand instead of going round in circles.

Painted to be bought straight from me.
