Money triggers the world harder than anything else right now, and I took it head-on.

Everybody knows the rituals. A coin kept in the wallet. A banknote under the tablecloth. Do not whistle indoors.

None of that works because of magic in the metal. Through a coin a person makes an agreement with themselves. The action charges the thought, the thought becomes a habit, and the habit moves them where they were going anyway.

There is a secret in this one, though not in the physical layer. It is whatever sits behind those dollars for you: which wishes, and where you keep them hidden.

Gloss lies over the top. In daylight the picture reads like a shop window; come right up and the window is gone, leaving texture.

The title is cheeky and I know it.

It can be taken as a diptych with its pair. Good in a study.
