The wave half I made as a state. The shadows on the sand are whoever is walking up to that state. Hence the title.

Shades of blue settle a person down, and it works with no esoterics involved, purely through the way the eye passes the signal on.

Gloss and texture together give movement, the one trick I allowed myself: you look at a still surface and keep waiting for the wave to run on.

The scene is plain. A band of water, a band of sand, two shadows, nothing happening, which is the whole idea of the collection.
