Just a Pleasure

The palette is blue on blue. Those colours level out your breathing, which is physiology rather than mysticism: the eye takes them in and the body drops its pace.

The waves are calm and keep their own rhythm. No storm. No dead flat either.

The shore runs off on a diagonal and the two walk beside it, turning nowhere.

I made the figures barely readable on purpose. They are not showing a feeling, they are inside one, and there is nobody to show it to: no other person exists on this surface.

What does the “just” mean? Cleared out. What is left is what cannot be removed: moving water, a warm hand, a moment with nothing to add to it.

The size is small. Work like this goes where you pass every morning, not on the big living-room wall.
