To Be One with Love

I built no religious reading into it. The silhouettes are soft and honest, and the cassock is clothing here, not a rank.

The man is calm, close to luminous. Not because he is anyone special, but because he carries the quiet that appears in people who can love without announcements.

The child beside him believes the world with no effort. It costs him nothing yet.

The ground is light and textured and holds the memory of clear days. The light on the horizon calls forward and promises room.

The composition is minimal. Two figures, a line and light. Nothing else on the plane.

There is no hurry in this walk. The gesture matters more than words here, and the touch matters more than the gesture.

Give it a calm wall: a bedroom, or the far end of a hallway.
