A luxury gift for a man
Expensive gifts for men are often chosen by subject: space, mountains, the sea, a dark ground with gold. If he loves the mountains or the sea, start there.
A gift like this usually goes into a study or a living room, where guests will see it. For that kind of wall, go for a metre or more on the longer side.
Expensive is not the same as exclusive
An expensive thing can be bought twice. A painting cannot: it is made by one hand, exists once, and no copies are made of it. The certificate of authenticity puts that on paper: title, size, year, signature.
See it before you buy
The studio is in St Petersburg: come, look, touch the surface, just write ahead. Some works stand in the WOODDI designer furniture showroom. If you cannot come, the painting will be filmed for you, close up and in daylight.
A work made to order
I like working to commission: to a size, to a colour, to a wall. If nothing in the catalogue is right, write who the painting is for and where it will live, and we will talk it over. The timing of a commission is agreed separately.
Timing for New Year
New Year orders are taken until 27 December. After that the painting travels with a transport company whose schedule the studio does not control, so delivery by the 31st is not promised. Anything ordered after the 27th ships after the January holidays.
